Terms and Conditions
- I - Preamble This document regulates the general terms and conditions of use of the Laskasas online shop. It is the user's responsibility to be familiar with the Terms and Conditions in effect at the time the Purchase process begins. Laskasas may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any such modifications will not affect purchases made prior to the approval of said modifications, which will be governed by the Terms and Conditions in effect at the time such purchases were made. By accepting the conditions, the user declares that he/she is of legal age and has the legal capacity to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- II - Ownership of the domain laskasas.com The website www.laskasas.com is registered under the Regulations for the Registration of Domains and Subdomains.PT and is owned by Laskasas, S.A., a company with registered offices at Rua Alto do Facho, n.º 576, 4585-831 Rebordosa, Paredes, Legal Person n.º 507.272.102, registered with the relevant Commercial Registry Office under the same number, with share capital of EUR 550,000.00 (five hundred and fifty thousand Euros) (‘Laskasas’). - III - Applicable Law and Jurisdiction These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. For any conflict arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions, Portuguese courts will always be the competent courts. The client may also obtain information on their rights from the competent alternative dispute resolution organisations, available at www.consumidor.pt. Laskasas hereby warns that its policy is not to adhere to the arbitrations made possible by these entities, and that it will verify, on a case-by-case basis, the best alternative for resolving the dispute in question, always taking into account the best interests and rights of its clients.
- IV - Use of the Online Shop Use of the Online Shop implies full and unreserved acceptance by the customer of these Terms and Conditions, as well as Laskasas's privacy policy (‘Privacy Policy’), which are in force at any given time. Customers' personal data will be used and processed by Laskasas under the terms and conditions set out in the Privacy Policy. The use of cookies on the Laskasas website is also regulated in the Privacy Policy. All information provided by the customer must be true and complete, and the customer is responsible for updating this information whenever it changes. The customer will also be responsible for any false, incomplete or inaccurate information or statements made and for any damage caused to Laskasas and/or third parties as a result. In the event of a breach of the Terms and Conditions by the customer, Laskasas may, in addition to any other legally prescribed action, terminate their access to or use of the Online Shop.
- V - Registering as a User In order to access the electronic purchase of Laskasas products, it is not necessary to register as a user of the website (www.laskasas.com). You can make a purchase without registering, as a ‘Guest’. User registration is free and must be done via the ‘Register’ option available on the website itself. Once the process has been completed, you will receive an email confirming that the process has been carried out correctly. The user can access the private section with their username and password or the means that Laskasas has provided, in each case, to authenticate users. In their profile, the user can find relevant information, such as information on previous orders or the shipping address provided. The user can cancel their account at any time by sending an email to the following address: shop@laskasas.com. This cancellation implies the cancellation of their personal user data.
- VI - Period of validity of promotions or campaigns Without prejudice to the provisions of specific legislation, offers or contract proposals by electronic means will be valid for the period set by Laskasas or, in its absence, for as long as they remain accessible to the recipients.
- VII - Purchase process The purchase process consists of the following steps:
 (i) Product selection: Navigate through our website and access the product page you want, select the configurator options (when available) and click on the ‘Add’ button each time you want to incorporate a product into the purchase. The shopping basket contains the name of the product selected, the quantity, the options selected and the price in euros.
 (ii) Start of the purchase process: To start the purchase process, click on the ‘Checkout’ button.
 (iii) Cart summary: Confirm all the products before proceeding to the final step and click on ‘Continue’.
 (iv) Filling in your purchase details: Log in with your account or enter your purchase details without registering. Check all the data and confirm any errors that may have arisen during data entry. Once the data has been verified, you can proceed to the last step.
 (iv) Selecting a payment method: Select the payment method of your choice, accept these Terms and Conditions by ticking the relevant box and click on the ‘Pay securely’ button. At this point, the contract will be validated for all purposes.
 (v) Purchase confirmation: Once approval has been received, Laskasas will issue an on-screen confirmation that you can save, containing the following information:- Order number
- Payment details
- Delivery details
- Billing details
- Summary of the products included in the purchase.
 
- VIII - Checking dimensions and household accesses When making a purchase on our platform, the customer expressly recognises and accepts that it is their responsibility to check and guarantee that the dimensions of the product purchased are suitable for the space where they intend to place it. The customer must check in advance that the dimensions of the product are compatible with the accesses and spaces in their home, such as doors, corridors, lifts and other factors that may affect the delivery or assembly of the product in the desired location. Laskasas cannot be held responsible if home delivery and/or product assembly cannot be completed due to access or space limitations. The above provisions apply to all products. Any extra costs arising from the need to reschedule the delivery or hire special services to complete the delivery of the product due to home access problems will be the customer's responsibility. Details of product dimensions are available on each product page, in the ‘Dimensions’ section. Where a crane service is required for orders over €15,000 (except during “Black Friday” or “Hot Days”), Laskasas will offer a crane service; in other cases, the service will be charged to the customer.
- IX - Products, price and taxes The photographs in the Online Shop are merely illustrative or exemplary in nature, and do not exclude a reading of the characteristics and technical specifications contained in the description. In case of doubt, the customer can always contact Laskasas at shop@laskasas.com. All prices indicated on the website are understood to be in euros and include the taxes and duties applicable to the user's territory, without prejudice to the fact that the purchase of products in another territory may incur the corresponding charges and/or taxes. Prior to accepting the price via the ‘Checkout’ option, the user will be able to find out the full final price of their order, detailing in particular any added values or discounts applied, as well as any transport costs, taxes, fees or other extra services. Product prices may vary at any time, depending on Laskasas's pricing policy. Products purchased will be charged at the price in effect at the time of purchase.
- X - Payment methods Users may pay the price of the products purchased by the following means:
 a) Debit or credit card: Payment of the user's order is made in real time via TPV Virtual once the data provided has been verified.
 b) PayPal.
 c) Bank transfer.
 d) Multibanco.
 e) MB Way.
 f) Cetelem.
 g) Cryptocurrency.
 h) Klarna.
 Cash on delivery is not permitted.
- XI - Invoice Once payment has been confirmed, Laskasas will dispatch the products you have ordered under the terms indicated, and the invoice will be delivered together with the products. If necessary, you can always retrieve your invoice from shop@laskasas.com, indicating your order number and the full name associated with the order.
- XII - Delivery times, conditions and shipping costs Delivery
 Orders are dispatched within the following territories: Portugal (including Madeira and Azores islands) and Spain (Madrid, Galicia, Valladolid and Salamanca regions only). Home delivery takes place from Monday to Saturday. The user can specify any shipping details according to the options provided by Laskasas at any time.
 Deadlines
 Laskasas Home products are delivered within 7 days for mainland Portugal and Peninsular Spain, once the order has been paid for. For the Azores and Madeira Islands, they are delivered within 14 days. The delivery time for furniture and upholstery products is up to 70 days. For outlet products and fast delivery, the delivery time is up to 30 days. On each product page, you will find a breakdown of the delivery time. If you order more than one type of these products, with different delivery times, the delivery date for the order placed will be the longest time stipulated. The delivery date communicated to the customer is an estimate and may be adjusted. Prior to delivery, the customer will be contacted by the logistics department to arrange the most convenient day and time within the available options. Except in cases of unforeseen circumstances, delivery will take place within the estimated time indicated in the order confirmation.
 Postponement
 After confirming the order, if the customer wishes to postpone delivery, they may do so for a maximum period of up to 6 months. After scheduling, if the customer requests postponement/cancellation of delivery only 5 working days beforehand, he/she will be obliged to pay: 90 euros for transport costs in the case of orders worth up to 3000 €; 300 euros for transport costs in the case of orders worth 3001 € to 15000 €; 500 euros for transport costs in the case of orders worth over 15000 €; At the time of the logistics contact for scheduling, if the customer is not in a suitable condition (the conditions being analysed according to the criteria of a ‘bonus pater familias’) to receive the order, Laskasas will grant the following: one month from the delivery date for the customer to meet the necessary conditions to be able to receive the order; the customer, at the end of the extension period given and not being in a suitable condition to receive the order, must pay for it in full and will be given a further three months to store the order at Laskasas headquarters. At the end of the three-month period granted, the customer is obliged to pay for the occupation of the order space in the warehouse, at a weekly cost of €5 per square metre, billed monthly, for a maximum period of 8 months; if the customer does not receive the product at the end of the period for which he is responsible, Laskasas is released from any obligation to deliver, considering the order cancelled and being able to dispose of it as it sees fit, and the customer is obliged to pay in full.
 Assembly
 The order is delivered to the address given by the customer when placing the order. For mainland Portugal, the assembly service is included with delivery. For deliveries to the islands, we only deliver to the customer's door and do not include assembly. For deliveries to the Madrid and Galicia region, we ensure delivery and assembly by our own specialised team. Delivery is considered complete when the customer signs the delivery note. Additional charges for the transport and delivery of products will be duly informed to the user during the purchase process. Furniture, Upholstery and Tapestry items cannot be picked up in a physical shop, but can be collected from Laskasas headquarters free of charge.
- XIII - Intellectual and industrial property The texts, works, illustrations, images and artworks reproduced or represented in the Online Shop are protected by the respective copyright, under the terms of the applicable legislation. Any reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, of the Online Shop is strictly prohibited. Company names, trademarks and any other distinctive signs reproduced in the Online Shop are also protected under the terms of the applicable legislation. Any reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, of these distinctive signs is strictly prohibited.
- XIV - Natural characteristics of products Because of its natural origin, wood varies from one piece of furniture to another, due to differences in its grain and colour. Over time, it will undergo natural ageing and change its appearance but, when exposed to the same environment, these differences should stabilise and disappear over time. Slight imperfections and cracks may occur as these are natural characteristics of the material, and they may be more pronounced in very dry places. As the wood is of natural origin, when orders are placed in different periods there may be differences in the colour of the furniture. As all upholstery products are made from non-rigid and flexible raw materials (foam and fabrics), it is necessary to allow a margin of difference of around 20mm in the final measurements.
- XV - Order modifications and personalisation If you wish to modify your order, you have up to 4 calendar days after payment to do so, and you should contact the online customer service team using the means available. Only a few of the dozens of possible product customisations are available on the website. You can see our catalogue of finishes and choose the options you like best at the following link: https://www.laskasas.com/files/materiais-acabamentos-en.pdf. You can also ask for physical samples to be sent to you in the comfort of your own home. Once you have made your choice, contact our online sales team to place the personalised order - returns are not possible in these cases and the next XVI term does not apply.
- XVI - Returns i) Returns
 In accordance with Portuguese law, users have the right of free termination, whereby they may return the product received if they prove that it does not meet their expectations. The exercise of the right of free termination is reserved for users acting as consumers and/or users, in accordance with the definition given to them by the E-commerce Law. This right may be exercised within a maximum period of fourteen (14) consecutive days from receipt, according to the official calendar of the place where the product was delivered. In order to exercise this right, the product must be in perfect condition and retain its original packaging (in the case of Laskasas Home products). To exercise the right of cancellation, the user must make the return request directly in their personal account on the Laskasas website, by accessing ‘My account’ - ‘Orders’, selecting the order and initiating the return process. The refund will be made using the same payment method used when placing the order (if possible) or by transfer to the bank account indicated by the customer for this purpose, within a maximum period of fourteen (14) days from the date of receipt of the return request. In any case, Laskasas may withhold the refund until it has received the returned products, namely for the purpose of checking their condition. The customer is responsible for bearing the full cost of returning the goods in the event of exercising the right to freely terminate the contract. If the customer chooses to have Laskasas collect the goods, there is a charge of €140 for furniture items and €10 for Laskasas Home items - the same amount applies in cases where the customer requests a return at the time of delivery.
 ii) Product defective or damaged during transport
 When the product has been damaged during transport, it is essential that the user reports this on the same day as receiving the products and marks it on the delivery note. Before accepting the products, the user must check the conformity and condition of the products, the integrity of the packaging and that all the characteristics and units correspond to those described on the delivery note, and must make an immediate complaint if there are any anomalies. If the user is not satisfied with the condition of the products delivered, they should immediately contact the Laskasas online customer service team using the contact methods available.

- XVIII - Product guarantee Laskasas products have a guarantee period of 3 years (excluding incorrect use or wear and tear of the products, namely removal of the Laskasas brand); in the case of used products (outlet or ‘exhibition’ products, for example) the guarantee period is 18 months. All Laskasas products are subject to quality control. Any manufacturing defects in the products are the responsibility of Laskasas S.A. In the event of a repair, the repaired item will benefit from an additional guarantee period of 6 months for each repair, up to a limit of 4 repairs. If the product is replaced, the warranty period is 3 years.
- XIX - Servicio postventa En todos los casos de asistencia requerida después de la entrega, el cliente podrá solicitar el apoyo del servicio postventa. La incidencia deberá ir acompañada de soporte fotográfico, y Laskasas está obligada a proponer una solución al cliente en un plazo máximo de 8 días hábiles, salvo que el problema sea de especial complejidad técnica. - XX - Exclusion This document does not regulate distance sales made with the online shop's sales staff via the available means (Whatsapp, email and telephone) - in this case the commercial agreement shared by the respective sales staff should govern.
